To Benefit the March of Dimes Are You Tough Enough to Save Babies? Dee Snider is. Ride Along Side Him or Sponsor Him as a fan. WOODBURY, NY – March 1, 2006…On Sunday, May 21, 2006, an estimated 2,000 motorcyclists will join Dee Snider (radio personality and lead singer of Twisted Sister) and the March of Dimes in the fight against premature birth at Dee Snider’s 4th Annual Bikers for Babies Ride. Registration will begin at 9am at Nassau Veterans Memorial Coliseum on Hempstead Turnpike in Uniondale and the bikers will hit the open road at 11 am. The route is as follows: Meadowbrook Parkway South to Ocean Parkway East; Ocean Parkway East to Robert Moses Causeway North; Robert Moses Causeway North to Long Island Expressway East; Long Island Expressway East to North Ocean Avenue. The ride will culminate at the Town of Brookhaven’s Town Hall located at One Independence Hill in Farmingville. Grand Marshal and celebrity chair, Dee Snider says, “One of the great things about being a biker is that we are part of a community and this is our chance to do something good. The March of Dimes strikes a chord with me.
