A voice that helped define a music form has been silenced.  Ronnie James Dio--the voice that inspired legions of singers--is gone.  He was a great influence on me and I am grateful that I got to tour and hang with the man.  Kerrang magazine once said, he had a voice that could pierce chain mail.  True, but  it could also be so tender it would make you weep.  Ronnie was small in stature, but had the voice of a giant.  Thank God we have all his amazing recordings, so future generations will know the talent that was Ronnie James Dio!  Now raise your metal horns in the air in his memory! - Dee Snider
